Float the cool, clear waters of the Frio River (Spanish for ‘cold’) at Garner State Park. Smooth, sloping rock hills provide a stunning backdrop to this refreshing summer & fall hotspot. Garner has something for everyone, but the must-do is a relaxing, but fun float down the river. Make sure to bring your innertube and prepare for the occasional bumpy (but family-friendly) rapid.
