Los Angeles is arguably the most exciting city in the world. The capital of the movie industry and known for its beautiful weather, this city attracts visitors seeking fame, fortune, a relaxing vacation, or sometimes all three! If you plan to visit soon and are wondering how to get around, read on, you’ll have plenty of choices once you get here.

Los Angeles Airport Transportation Options

The transportation options at LAX will have you on the road in no time:

Shuttles: Hotels and off-premises parking facilities offer shuttles to and from the airport.

Public transportation: Metro bus and light rail service is available at LAX. Shuttle service is available from the arrivals area on the lower level: Look for signs that will take you to a shuttle either for the Metro C Line or buses.

Taxis and ride share:  If you plan to take a ride share, such as Uber or Lyft, from the airport, you must meet your ride in the LAX-it lot next to Terminal 1. Shuttle service is available from anywhere in the airport to this lot. Taking a taxi? You can get one in the same lot as ride shares, the baggage claim outside Terminal 7, or at the cab stand in Parking Structure 3.
